news
from around the region
…from your Director
Time has slipped away from me this month and
for that I apologize. The new Region 7
website is in the works and I had hoped to announce it is up and running, but
as these things go, it is a work in progress but should be available soon.
It is time to elect your chapter’s Nominating
Committee. It is this committee’s
responsibility to select a slate of Officers and Directors for election in
June. I encourage each of you to
consider serving your chapter on the Board of Directors in some capacity, so
don’t wait for someone to ask you – step up and let your Nominating Committee
know you are ready to serve.
Our Annual Forum is coming up the first
weekend in April and the Forum Committee has been working hard to get this
event put together. You have all
received your invitation in the mail and it is available on the NAWIC
website. We are celebrating the 50th
Anniversaries of the Austin, San Antonio and Waco chapters this year and there
are some surprises in store for you. It will be a weekend of education,
networking, good food and fun you won’t want to miss.
Thank you to all Region 7 chapters for
getting your IRS Compliance forms in to the NAWIC office before the deadline.
